If this is your first time mining Kadenda, before logging into the machine, you need to select a Kadena wallet and pool to use for your Kadenda mining needs. First, choose a wallet in which to store your Kadena coin. There are different options for this. I use Zelcore myself, you can download the Zelcore app and it generates a wallet address similar to a bitcoin address but specific to Kadena. You can also use a wallet on an exchange to store your Kadena like Binance, where you can then trade or withdraw it. After getting your wallet address, you need to select a pool to use. The pool is what allows your miner to work on the network and then awards the machine rewards based on the mining speed. There are several choices depending on the type of coin you are mining.
Setting up
As with most asic miners, installation is very simple. Access the machine from another computer using the Asic IP address. Then connect your pool credentials to the machine and click save.
Goldshell has a handy find my goldshell function to determine the machine’s IP address. Log into the machine and click on the miner tab on the top left. Plug in your wallet and pool settings and that’s it. Then you can use the pool’s website to track the draw of your machines and the payments on your wallet.
